Well it is a work in progress now Phil after i went to change a couple of broken rear springs.A few pics of her,one before i started and some of her at the moment.I have boxes of bits starting to clutter up the place so the spanners will have to come out again at some point.

As she was completely standard
IMG0300A.jpg
Sorting out the broken rear springs and a few other bits aswell, excuse the ABS sensor that got chucked
IMG0325A.jpg
Thought i may aswell sort out the front while i was there
IMG0344A.jpg
Had a bit of an experiment with the front grills
IMG0346A.jpg
Took her outside for a quick wash and to try some different wheels and then back into the shed again for some more bits.
.A long way to go yet,but i hope so far to have cured the factory"pig on rollerskates" type handling  . Now i can start to add some go faster bits :D

Nice colour. Be careful you don't just throw money at it. The B5 makes good power with a map and exhaust. The B7 RS4 brakes with Pheaton cooling ducts work very well. If you plan on doing track days, then let some sticky tyres. Sorted :)

The money i throw at it will be well spent i hope.I have a good idea of what mods i plan to do.I don't think it will be tracked, but i have a stack of RS4 parts some of which i will use and some i will sell.Braking and handling were my main concern to start with.It has fairly standardish brakes at the moment, but they are brand new,so should do the job for a while.I rather fancy the BBK Porsche Cayenne set up, when i change them. All good fun though putting it together. When i pull the engine i will be able to sort out the remaining mounts i want to change.I just have subframe, tranny, diff and engine to do now,and that will be the lot.I only want to do it all once. All advice welcome though.K04'S will be the biggest outlay,as i want a new set,of B/W's   .I was going to use the RS4 TB,TBB,fuel rail and injectors but have decided to go another route now,so i will probably sell those.I'll post some more pics of things i get up to when i have time :s4addict:
