Hi. Another new member.

Post by larryvt » Mon Jul 11, 2011 11:07 pm

Hi all,

Hoping to join the fun; looking to get myself a B5 RS4 when the right one turns up.

Currently own a TVR Grtiffith and Subaru Legacy GT-B. Was wondering if anyone had any experience of these compared to the RS4?? There are certainly a few posts on the TVR forums comparing the two!

I presume the best thing to do is get some research done on here and perhaps buy from a member?

Thanks all,
Laurence

Welcome aboard,
Generally a good thing to do providing something comes up. It's always nice to speak to the previous owners/read up on the cars history etc.

Good luck with the search.

Thanks for the welcome.
And the link.

I look forward to to comparing the TVR with the RS4 eventually.
However, the Audi is to replace the Subaru. Which brings me onto a couple of stupid questions. Are the turbos sequential as they are in the Legacy? And what is the torque like below 2000rpm. I only ask as I need to tow; sacrilege I realise but needs must.

Cheers,
Laurence

Sonny, I'd love to say you're wrong.... but sadly.

Anyway, I seem, already, to have a gleaming RS4 parked up outside, and I can see what the fuss is all about now. :D
So, now to get started on the TVR-RS4 comparisons
