New face

Post by jonno1 » Thu Jan 22, 2004 6:24 pm

As a new S4 owner I found this site really helpful in making sure I knew what I was buying and what to ask.

A big thankyou to all who take the time to post on here.

I am now the proud owner of a Ming Blue S4 Avant, 2000 "W" 53,000 miles which cost me £17,995. After owning an Alfa 3.0 GTV for the last two years the S4 feels like complete luxury!!

I wanted to ask a question and if anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful:

When travelling at, ahem, over 70mph the wind noise in the car (seemingly from the windscreen vents) is a lot louder than I would have expected - any suggestions as to what this could be? I have tried changing the vent settings etc but nothing seems to make any difference.

Thanks in advance!

There is wind noise (well) above 70, but I've never heard it via the windscreen vents, usually at the top of the doors.
