Good afternoon.

Post by AndyA6 » Mon May 15, 2006 3:41 pm

I hope this is the right area to introduce myself. I have been recomended to come a join this forum as it appears to be the most active. Sadly, i do not own a S or RS Audi, however, i have just bought a MY03 Audi A6 Avant 2.5 TDI auto. I should collect it in the next couple of weeks - can't wait. I have only had one other Audi prior to this which was a MY89 Coupe Quattro [non turbo] which wasn't that great. Thankfully things have moved on lots and lots

:D

Hello

Thanks for the response ;)

Chipping is up there on list of priorities. I usually leave a car a few months to see wherther i like it first. I am off to France soon for a 1500 mile round trip, that should help me decide :)

I am collecting it in 2 weeks. Couple of reasons for that.

1) I wanted to sell my wife's current car [shameless plug: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/77044.htm] - I would rather get rid of one to buy another, but it isn't looking hopeful on that front.

2) Tthe other, less significant issue, was road tax. I have this thing about wasting road tax, so I wanted it after June 1. As it happens, the salesman is on holiday that week, so she will be here in 15 days :)

It is like waiting for Christmas !

Well this time next week, the wife will be proudly driving her Audi. However, i have fingers and toes crossed that this Multipla sells sooner rather than later. it is on ebay at the moment. Spread the word !
