I have just pick my rs4 which has the rsn-e head unit with audi blutooth cradle stuck on the side.
the guy from audi said that lots of people take this off and put it behind the unit. as it looks very ugly i was hoping to do this. does anyone have any experience doing this or even better are there any guides out there?
many thanks
Ben

The Bluetooth module isn't in the cradle - it's underneath the front seat. The cradle is just that, a cradle.

Lots of people have removed the cradle (all you need to do is unscrew it and unplug it), but when you remove it there will be some large holes left in the centre console so unless you can live with those you'll need to replace the centre console trim.

Worth a look on eBay as it's the same trim on B6/B7 A4/S4/RS4 (make sure it the right colour).

People can fix trim. Speak to your local in car entertainment Shop.
