Sub faults?

Post by Phill R » Sun Apr 03, 2011 9:09 pm

I've got the RNS-D Bose system in my Avant but can't seem to get and noise or vibration from the sub in the back. I can't find anything in the menus so assume an amp or speaker fault. Anything I should check before removing the trim?
thanks for any help.

The sub connects directly to the Bose amp, if the other 4 speakers are working OK then check the wiring from the Bose amp to the sub, the sub itself (disconnect form the amp and measure it's resistance) and if that's all OK then it's the amp.
