Audi Ipod Adapter with Ipod Touch & Spotify

Hi,

I have an OEM ipod adapter in my B7 S4 (this is the simple one) and would like to get an ipod touch with a spotify account for music.

Has anyone tried this with the OEM adapter, can the adapter access the spotify music or can it only see the music sync'd from itunes? I'm quite tempted but just have a nagging doubt it's not going to work as hoped.

Any help appreciated.

I thought it only accessed the first 5 playlists on the OEM Ipod adaptor. Also it doesn't charge the Ipod touch.

You could do it with the earphones jack plugged into an AUX port of some sort. The normal interfaces won't access applications, only media library
