Has anybody installed a DAB retrofit to the RNS-E they would recommend?
Thanks.

There's no Audi retrofit for DAB on the RNS-E.

So all you can do is to use a third party DAB tuner connected either via an FM modulator (not good for sound quality) or connected to the Aux In of the RNS-E.

Thanks Dave - Information seems to be that now there is going to be a mass demand for this type of product over the next couple of years the audio manufacturers have set budget aside to create the 'right' products in the near  future...

IMHO Audi will never release a DAB add-on for the RNS-E.

BTW the latest statement from the UK Government regarding DAB is that the 2015 timetable has been abandonded and they will just "encorage" the take up of DAB rather than enforcing a particular timescale.

Several MPs are lobbying for the switch off of AM & FM analog radio to be abandoned altogether because of the WEEE problems of disposing of the 100 million analog radios, plus the extra power needed by DAB radio receivers & transmitters will affect the ability to meet the CO2 emissions laws.
