Ring tone volume

Guys need some help here my wife just got a S3 with lots of toys one of which is the bluetooth phone now mangaed to work out most of the fuctions but can't find how you turn down the incomming ring tone volume as it currantly rings at full blast through the speakers. I cant find any thing in the manule on how to turn the ring tone volume down any one any idea?

Maybe a silly suggestion.... but how about turning the volume down on the phone if you haven't already done so?

Yep tried that thanks read a few threads on other forums that it should have an option in the settings to reduce volume but i cant find it in the sub menus

Hi Steve, trust you are well?

If it's a new car with the fancy sat nav, I think the ring volume is in the setup menu for the phone system.....worth a look anyway.

Hi Martyn doing fine up here you looking to get the C6 RS6+
It's a 59 plate not the MMI sat nav RNS-E i think i have trawled through all the sub menus and leafed throught he book nothing therebut only thing next to do is turn all the ringtonne volumes in the oprofiles down see if that works

Sussed it the car links to your Genral profile and the volume dose reduce on the car when reduced on the phone had tried this earlyer but didn't reduce the volume enough

Ah, that's worth remembering and doubtless better than a pair of ear defenders!

Not sure if I will have a C6, they are just not the same.....keeping it for a while, an RS 2 might tempt me though!
