Sorry if this has already been answered here and if it has could someone post the link....thanks
Girlfriend now has her TTS and quite nice it is too. Problem seams to be connecting her i-phone to the i-Pod docking station in the glove box. It came with all brackets but none fit. You can coax it in the slot but doesn't feel right also when you do get it connected I see on the screen (albeit upside down) that it says 'this accessory is not designed for the application' but when you go to the CD section on RNS-E it plays the contents of the i-Phone
Is there an i-Phone cradle and is it ok to connect? Any help appreciated
i-phone i-pod connection
RE: i-phone i-pod connection
The Audi dock station for Ipod is not designed for newer Ipod's/Iphones, it doesn't charge them for one and the brackets supplied are all wrong. I think they have some newer brackets available, check with Audi parts.
Just checked the parts list, Iphone 3G is not listed at all, just Itouch which I understand is thinner than an Iphone or 3G.
8P0 868 003 A 6PS are the set for newer Ipod/Nano/Itouch etc.

Thanks for that, good old Audi up-to-date as usual . Guess its back to the old i-Pod then
RE: i-phone i-pod connection
there's a compatibility table on the dension website that mentions about charging voltages - I think they upped it from 3v to 5v so older-designed models won't charge newer iPods/iPhones. I have a Dension Ice-Lite in mind, it will charge my Nano 3rd Gen (short fat one) but not my 3G
