3D view and Full postcode search

Hi All,

I have just purhcased a B6 S4 2003 with Sat Nav. It would be great to get guidance on my Sat Nav unit as I am not entirely sure on it's model (RNS-D or E ?)

Is it possible to get 3D view ?
I can currently only enter the first 4 digits of the postcode when searching for city, is there a way to enter all 7 digits of a postcode ?

ALL Audi sat nav systems only allow 4 digit postcode entry, even with the latest 2010 software.

Does your sat nav have one large knob on the RHS of the screen (RNS-E),or one either side of the screeen (RNS-D)?

If it's an RNS-E you can select pseudo 3D as a display option.

If it's an RNS-D you can't.

I suspect that as it's a 2003 B6 S4 it will be an RNS-D - at least that's what my 2003 B6 S4 had!

Thanks for the confirmation as mine has RNS-D according to your description and I cannot find the 3d menu view.

The BMW sat nav allow viewing of the mpg, tempature, speed etc on the screen.
Does the RNS-D have a similar view as currently I can only get those readings via flicking through on the indicator steering wheel ?

No, the Audi sat nav's are strictly sat nav only.
