RNSD ipod connectivity

Post by EnigmaRS6 » Wed Oct 14, 2009 11:38 pm

I want to use an I pod with the RNSD in my 2003 RS6. Is this possible if I loose the CD changer? What parts are required?
Thanks in advance.

You may want to check out the new Dension gateway 100 CAN which now supports track information in the DIS. Allows access to Playlists, albums and artists with information shown in the DIS.

I think in the past the build quality was poor, but they seem to be fine nowadays.

I have a homedock deluxe + kufatec IMA for the iPod which is good, but flakey and the screen display is only OK.

Interested to hear that Dension now have a solution that supports the DIS ... I have used Dension (Icelink +) in other cars, was pretty happy with it.
Anyone have pictures / details of what it can display, is it DIS or head unit or both?
