Hi all,

Sorry for the daft question. I have a tyre presure sensor alert, amber and reading on this forum, it says "go in the menu and disable /reset".

How? There is a rotary button near the gearlever/handbrake, but it doesn't appear to do anything.

Help

Thx

Yours is a C5 RS6 right (twin turbo V8)? So you don't have MMI (you have an RNS-D according to your other posts).

When you press the Reset button on the bottom of the wiper stalk does it cycle round various displays in the DIS, including a menu?

Yes, just had a try at work and it does change menu's, sorry to be vauge but i'm still learning.

I'm after getting into the tyre pressure menu, but no joy.

There is a button label "menu" by the gear stick also, which doesn't appear to do anything.

Many thanks.

It sounds like your car used to have the BNS sat nav system (no separate display just instructions in the DIS and voice prompts) which has been taken out and the RNS-D installed - so that button won't do anything now.

Let me check what system I have as I could be wrong

Either way, any idea how I get the to the tyre presure setting?

Yes, googled the rns-d and it looks the same. TV/NAV. Dont think it's been changed as the nav cd is 2003 and all the manuals are with the car.

But i'm no expert, tbh.

Lol, I was being a wally.

The rotary button with menu written above, the menu sign is actually a button. When pressed, it displayed a menu on the display. From there, I disabled the tyre pressure sensors.
