Very occassionally, my 2001 S3 doors are shut, but the dash shows it open (interior light stays on too). Any ideas of what to check?

There is a switch in the door lock.
These play up only real fix is to replace the door lock unit iro £60 last time I did one...

Or remove the door lock yourself and adjust/replace the microswitch which either costs nothing (if you can adjust it) or a few quid if you replace the switch.philipwalker wrote:There is a switch in the door lock.
