Retrofit AMI

Hi,

I am looking for a south coast based (near Southampton) Audi specialist who can retrofit Audis AMI and/or DAB radio.

I have tracked a couple of specialists down but they are all up north.

The car is a 56 plate Q7 (not the usual motor seen on these forums by the look of things!) with MMI High.

Any pointers you can give to a trustworthy expert would be much appreciated.

Your best bet is to wait for craigyb to come on one of his regular visits down south - I wouldn't trust anyone locally (I live in Southampton) to do an AMI or DAB retrofit. The fibre-optic based MMI system in your Q7 is just too complex for any auto electrical or car radio place to deal with, and the Audi specialists I know locally are more mechanics oriented. Don't even think about going to either Southampton Audi or Portsmouth Audi...
