Is there a point under the bonnet of my RS6+ were I can easily connect to that will supply 12v (less than 1 amp) when the ignition is on? i can find this in the fuse box in the car of course but then need a route into the engine bay. Any help appreciated.

Under/behind the drivers kick plate you will find some metal bars, the one marked 75 is a switched live.

Craig that's most useful thanks. What is the best route into the engine bay? I'm fitting led running lights.

No doubt, but the bus mentioned is the right place and works well. Job done now, it drives a regulator (placed in the ECU box) for my LED driving lights.
