It is so nice to deal with a company that is willing to support their product, even when it's the operators fault
A good news story
A good news story
Purchased a Kufatec IMA multimedia adaptor for my RS6 (RNS-D) to use my Ipod with a Homedock Delux for both music and video. It arrived within a couple of days and after reading the instructions a few times took the plunge and pulled out the head unit and wired in the adaptor. With everything wired correctly it was time for testing. Everything worked perfect well all most everything! Video and music worked great but no control of the Ipod from the RNS-D. Checked all the connections again and followed the calibration procedure for setting the IMA to control the HomeDock but still there was no control. Sent an email to Kufatec stating the problem, within five minutes had a reply (super fast). They asked me to check connections and power supplies etc, all checked still no luck. Another email was sent the following day again an answer with in five minutes saying that the calibration procedure has to be carried out blind as the display from the IMA does not show on the display because of limitations with the RNS-D (it shows up on the RNS-E). Re did the procedure but you guessed it still no control of the homedock from the head unit. So another email yet again a reply within five minutes (what fantastic support service) if only it was always this good. This time they asked for the IMA to be posted back so they could check it. A couple of days passed when an email arrived saying the IMA had been checked and that the correct setting had not been selected for control of the Homedock. They would set the IMA to the correct settings and would upgrade the software before sending it back to me.
