Symphony II instruction book & iPod link

Post by Brisel » Sun Dec 07, 2008 11:25 pm

Does anyone know where I can get a copy (preferably electronic) of the instruction manual for a Symphony II?

My 2000 MY B5 RS4 has it fitted & I'm having problems trying to find out how to set up the traffic announcements. It came with an instruction book for the Symphony but all the buttons are different - there isn't a menu button, for example.

Pressing & holding any of the buttons doesn't seem to help. In fact, the traffic announcements seem to be stored in various memories and won't shut up....

It has a single CD player, tuner and cassette in the head unit, plus a 6CD changer in the boot. I don't have the CD changer - the previous owner took it out and put a Phatnoise box in, which he kept when he sold the car to me.

Also, if anyone has one of these, what iPod link are you using? I would like to tap into the wiring for the CD changer but have the iPod in the arm rest.

Thanks in advance.
