I installed a phatnoise last night and it all works fine but when driving there is a buzzing or whining coming through the speakers that changes pitch with the revs.
When RNSE is muted, it goes off. Any ideas? And how to fix?

But the phatnoise has no earth. Any thoughts where I could stick another earth.....?

Wasn't this something that affected US imports? Can remember reading something about it a few years ago on here.

Neither the car nor Phatnoise are US imports though Nige.
The phatnoise worked fine in the B6 S4 and B7 RS4.....

Maybe you just need to fit an alternator noise supressor?
