S6 Stereo replacement

Currently looking at replacing the symphony system in the car, realise I need the bose/rca converter to plug in to the bose amp+speakers, and also get the facia convertor to fill in the gaps left by a double din unit, however how deep a unit can go in the space left by the old system? The current jvc one I am looking at is 160mm deep + you have to have a bit extra for the cables exiting the rear of the unit.

Would also like to put a screen behind each seat for the kids, how would it be best to route the wires to each screen as will use a bracket to mount them to the head rest post rather than velcro.

Sorry to pull up an old thread, but I was just flicking through the forum, and came across this post. This sounds like an ideal job for Chorley Car Audio. Chris who owns CCA has become a good friend of mine. He has done loads of work for the VW R32 owners, and sponsors www.r32oc.com

His work is of such a high standard I flew Chris out to Dubai to work on my B7 RS4, as I did not trust any of the establishments here to undertake workmanship to a high standard.

Give Chris a call on 01257 220035 or check out www.chorleycaraudio.co.uk

I'm going to be pulling Chris over again in the near future to add to the RS4's ICE.
