I need a favour, RNS-E problem

My RNS_E in my RS6 is playing up, the sat nav side of it says it can`t read dvd disc, its a 2007 original disc, is there anyone in the sutton surrey area who is willing to let me try there RNS-E 2007 disc in mine so i can find out if its the disc or the unit?.

My bet would be that the laser needs cleaning.
Best to do that first, before swapping units.

I just cleaned mine with soft tissue.
But I spoke to a local Audio company later on, and he recommended using methylated spirit

I use isopropyl alcohol - it doesn't have the added purple colourant that meths has.

tried the cleaning, no good took it to audi garage this morning, tech guy reckons the unit is fecked, so he has ordered a replacement and new dvd discs, under warranty of course
