Where's Tom Peterkin gone?

Those with a long memory will remember that we used to contact Tom Peterkin at Audi UK about the free TMC upgrade to the sat nav in the RS4, but Tom left Audi a while ago.
Where is he now?

Last time I spoke to him he said he was off to pastures new, but didn't give any hints. Nice guy, but to be honest I wouldn't have wanted his job!!

Sorry to resurrect, but how do I go about getting TMC on my '4 for free now?

You can't - you've missed the free window by almost a year!
Unless you can find a friendly person at a dealer .....
Cheapest way is to get a 2008 Western Europe DVD off eBay. Just the new SW isn't enough, you need new maps (with TMC tag data) as well.
