Pairing RNS-E to Nokia
RE: Pairing RNS-E to Nokia
If you search for the Audi Bluetooth module is should be Audi HU XXXX and the pin code is 1234. But unless you have the very latest Q module the N95 will not transfer phone book and I'm not sure how well the phone keep connection with the Bluetooth module.
RE: Pairing RNS-E to Nokia
You can also change the PIN code of the module by going into the settings...
There is a useful list on the www.navplus.us site that details devices that work correctly.
I have a Q version of the module and have it working 100% with my Nokia E65.

I think Nokia's do not work with the Audi system. Nokia use a different protocal for Bluetooth that does not always work with other systems. I have not been able to get any Nokia to work with the car.
So I'm told.....

I had no problems with a Nokia 6310i, but an N70 was rubbish.Tartan_Rob wrote:I think Nokia's do not work with the Audi system. Nokia use a different protocal for Bluetooth that does not always work with other systems. I have not been able to get any Nokia to work with the car.

The problems all started when Nokia went over to the Symbian 6 platform, which has a poorly implemented Bluetooth software stack.
You CAN get most of the N series Nokia's to work with the Audi Bluetooth system - but you need the latest Q version of the Audi phone module AND you need to install the Nokia 810 phonebook software on the phone.
