Sorry for the dippy question but what colour is the positive feed wire on the headlight feed? Just fitting some HIDs and not sure which colour wire is the +. Large thick brown wire and a thinner black and red one available?

Brown is a ground regardless of any other color codes. Just try either red or black, and try to figure it out by the gauge used too.
