B4 S4 Avant, headunit adapters/facia etc

Should be getting my Pioneer Avic X1R back next week, just wondering if anyone knew the facia and lead adapters im prob going to need to install it rather than cutting up any wires?

Not sure on the part #'s but I'd be interested to see some pics of the X1R installed when you've got it in place, I've been toying with the idea of this or a similar unit for some time but really wanna see one in place in a B5 dash before i decide.

Not sure if mine as BOSE, dont believe it has as I have the concert system in my car. Any particular ways of telling?

The head unit says BOSE when you turn it on. Also will have a little Bose emblem on the speaker grills, both Bose & non Bose had the same head unit, just coded differently.

If you're installing an amp then you wouldn't have got any advantage from having Bose anyways. The standard speakers are all 2 Ohm with Bose and I think without Bose too, so watch out for this. Probably better off replacing them anyways with the custom install.
