I'm getting really fed up with the BOSE n Sat Nav + (RNSD) in my RS6 Avant. I come from an A6 fitted with a quality Alpine head unit (currently for sale) linked to the BOSE amp and the sound was awesome.

The tones in the RS seem really flat, I've tried playing with the tones menu option to no avail. I know there's some hidden frequency settings to play with, but I am wondering if anyone else has the same opinion about the RNS-D?

I'm far from being an Audiophile, but do really like my tunes loud & decent in the car & i never found any issue with the RNSD with Bose in my RS6. TBH the Logic7 in the M5 was the best in car i've had so far & the Bose in the RS4 is slightly better than the same system in the RS6, but the RS6 was still good.

The B&O in the R8 i test drove a couple of weeks back was just out of this world.

Thanks Paul, I will have a play with the hidden settings. Maybe the previous owner(s) had a play.
