Isolating the starter system

Post by pj_sibley » Tue Mar 27, 2007 10:35 am

Going to be leaving my B5 S4 in a private car-park for a few days and am keen to isolate the starter system to prevent thieves from driving off in my pride and joy. The car is already fitted with Tracker and a CAT 1 alarm/immobiliser upgrade but I'd like to go one step better....anyone know any quick ways of doing this? Thanks.

I would do sbutle things like disconnect the throttle actuator etc, don't leave the wire hanging but disconnect and then push the terminals together to make them look as if they are connected, hall transformer thing on top of airbox would be good to.
