I,m just wondering if some one can tell me,

Can i fit one is it difficult and anything else i need to know,

I want one for no other reason than to monitor the boost, early warning etc,

I dont want to gouge a huge hole in the central vent and as my car hasnt got air bags ai thought i,d go for the a pillar mount option.

i want a good quality gauge so it doesent look tacky and most importantly its got be be accurate.

Any help and info would be much apreciated.

buy the AWE one, it comes with the vent pod so you can put it back to standard if you want plus the lighting matches the dashlights to a T

Do all S4's have airbags in the a pillars then? I know it's been mentioned as the reason most people fit the vent gauge, I have to say I don't know if my new purchase does or doesn't!
As for boost gauges, I always fit SPA digital stuff, usually duals. For the S4 I'm thinking off going in a different direction to most..

Dave,

Have you seen the one made by APR?

http://www.goapr.com.au/support/boost_gauge_pod.pdf

Apparently, they've stopped manufacturing it, but I've been offered a new one. The back-light is white, but it'll come with a red led bulb, so that can be changed. What I liked about it was the moulded vent housing. Both the AWE and APR one's are mechanical.

Price-wise, there's not much in it (APR is £19 cheaper), but you seem to like the AWE one. Is it just the red illumination, or are there other reasons that I haven’t considered?

Cheers
