service interval reset.

Post by gridders » Sat Feb 17, 2007 9:31 am

I have a 2000W facelift B5 A4 and want to reset the service interval in the dash. The car is on the 'longlife' system but I like to change the oil and filters more frequently, especially as I do low 'ish mileage.

Do I have to wait for the dash to tell me service is due before I can reset it or can I do so now? If so how? I've tried the 1 and 2 buttons as described in the owners manual but it doesn't seem to want to reset inbetween estimated services.

I have the free version of Vag Com if needed.

Cheers folks, keep up the good work.
