Need some suggestions from those in the know. Both my current Sony Ericsson P900 and Blackberry 8100 (on trial) will pair with the car but then the MMI won't use the phone. I just get the message that no phones are connected. Do I need a different phone or is there any kind of upgrade available from the dealer?
When I picked up the car, the salemans phone worked perfectly, phonebook and all. He has given me a list of the compatible phones but those on the list that fully integrate with the bluetooth system are no longer available, they've all been superseded. Any suggestions?

RE: Bluetooth problems
P900 is known to have problems with bluetooth, P910 is not much better, no phonebook transfer but will work. The P990 works well except for the contacts being back to front last.first order.

RE: Bluetooth problems
Thanks for that Craig, that will make choosing a new phone much easier. It's actually reassuring to know it's the phone and not a problem with the car.
On a different note, I notice on your website you install iPod cradles in the glove box, alongside the CD changer. How does that work exactly? Can you control the iPod through the MMI system, do you get a track listing on screen?
I've looked at the Dension http://www.dension.com/icelinkgateway500.php but I've never fancied messing with things I don't understand and the only uk installer listed is the carphone warehouse, and I'm not trusting their fitters.

RE: Bluetooth problems
Yes you can control the Ipod through the MMI and also you get track listings, effectively you can browse your Ipod like your using the click wheel from the MMI. I did an S6 the other week and it was very nice.
