I currently have the 6 disc in Dash Symphony CD changer. Is there a factory Audi Sat Nav option and does anyone have a photo or model number?
Thanks
Dave
anyone with OEM Sat Nav in a 8L S3?

I have fitted sat nav to a couple of cars with Symphony II, as long as your car is around 200/3 then it looks great.
See the attached pic of a DVD nav fitted.

Wow! thats looks class!
Does one need any special cables or converters to install? Can you tell me what SAT NAV part numbers are compatible? I see some SAT NAV's can please mp3s off SD cards, will any of those work in the 8L S3?
Thanks Craig.

craigyb's pictures are of the RNS-E DVD sat nav - which has 2 SD card readers behind the (motorised) screen.
You'll need a harness adapter and an aerial adapter.

The Nav system above was NEVER sold with the A3/S3 as it was not available at the time of production. The picture(s) show an A4 RNS-E retrofit with some trimming of the faceplate to make it fit, then recoded for A6 and wired into the A3 in this case, a small strip of aluminium fills the gap at the top.
