I'm look to run my Tomtom from a switched feed rather than the ciggie lighter socket. Anyone know which wires in the fuse box are 12v switch for aux equipment ?

Cheers

Drop the panel down under the steering wheel you will then have access to feeds on the back of the fusebox, there are a few there with 6mm nuts, get a test light to check which is switched.
I did this when i fitted my Origin B2, make shure you use an inline fuse if you use a feed that is not fused.
Hope that helps.

switched one is marked X75 i believe, there's some nuts down there too that you can run the ground to

Are you sure the tom tom runs on 12v? Isn't there a resisitor or similar to drop the voltage in the ciggie adapter? I have been meaning to test the voltage myself for a while....might get around to it tomorrow!

Your probable right.....thinking about it the Tomtom One has a USB connection which is used for charging the unit.....this will be +5V dc.....Need to investigate.

Yeap ciggie adaptor is 12v/24v to 5V dc 2A. I'll just butcher the ciggie lighter itself and get the 12V feed directly into it.
