Where can I get a TV tuner repaired?

Post by quattro25 » Tue Dec 19, 2006 1:05 am

My TV tuner is seems to have a fault as I can't get a picture, but can get sound. If I play a DVD through the video channel it works perfectly - its just the TV function that has a problem. I've also tried another tuner and everything works with fine, so I'm confident the problem is with this unit. Can they be repaired and if so, does anyone know of a repairer who would fix these type of tuners?

What nav system is it attached to?

For example the "B" tuners are around £80 on ebay., but to buy a C or D tuner, your looking at around £350 to buy a new one.

Should be cheaper and more available on German e-bay.

Hi Craig and Dippy, its an original (non-B) type - I bought a replacement on e-bay and the old one is just sitting in the garage gathering dust, so I was thinking there might be someone who could repair them as an alternative to just putting it in the bin?
