2 electrical problems!

the car : 2.7 B5 2000 S4

1) today I discovered that the rear drivers side speaker (in the door) isnt working. stereo is bose symphony. I turned the balance and fade to that door, and all I could hear was a very faint hiss. is this a common problem? the stereo hasnt been abused, its rarely used above a low background noise. so id be very very suprised if the speaker had blown.

2) also noticed today that the front passenger side indicator isnt working. I believe it just needs a new bulb which I have. is there a 'how to' guide anywhere showing/instructing replacement? in a roundabout way, all the manual says is: go to a rip off dealer and prepare to 'bend over'!!!
