what size are the front and rear speakers, looking to replace them.

do the bose grills pop off, or do you have to remove the complete door card?

Not sure what size they are - look about 5.5-6 inch? You have to remove the door card to get at the speakers - they are screwed in from the back.

Make sure you don't forget to undo the "secret" screw under the piece of plastic trim on the door handle...

That's it - three screws, then just pull the door card up (vertically)

There are some fitting adaptors here http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product ... 18b6a2d7c9 which would suggest that the speakers are 13cm/5 inch or at least this is what will fit.

Remember that if you've got Bose then you have to buy 2ohm speakers, which are not very popular, can't remember who makes them.

ah 2ohm pain in the arse, well loosely fitted one of a pair of £40 component jbls, i had lying around and switch the balance from left to right, there was a noticeable diffence.

the jbl sounded slight clearer and less of a walloyee echoey sound, tho 4 ohm may fit them, will see how it sounds when if fitted the pioneer?

I seem to remember actually that someone said on here that 4ohms should be ok, but they *should* be 2ohm, I might have imagined that though!

I did track these down http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product ... ts_id=4256 (no I don't work for Car Audio Direct, just a good place to find stuff!)
