garbled display on symphony head unit!

garbled display on symphony head unit!
Anyone had their symphony head unit display go garbled? I had this once before and simply switching the unit off/on seemed to cure it although it seems to be a permanent feature now, wondering if yanking the fuse to force a reset will help?
