I think the answer to that is no as recarro's have manual adjustment forwards / backwards

Strange that ...

I've had Recaros in both the B6 S4 Avants I've owned and the B7 RS4 Avant I currently own - all on all three of them ALL the seat adjustments have been electric (front height, rear height, forward/backward, backrest angle, lumbar height and lumbar depth) on both driver and front passenger seats.

In the US seat memory is an option on the RS4 but Audi UK "in their wisdom" have decided not to offer it. Idiots!

I was refering to the ability to move the seat backwards / forwards from the steering wheel not the ability to alter height / lumbar / backrest angle in my B5 S4, not later B6/B7 models

This may depend on what car the Recarro is fitted to. There's certainly no memory option on the RS6 - the reason US cars had memory was that they came with standard sports seats fitted, not the Recarros.

Ally B, you have exactly the same problem as me - a tichy wife

If she drives and forgets to move the seat back when she gets out the struggle I have to go through just to get to the handle under the seat!

But, from what I hear, there's a way to programme the key fob to adjust the seats automatically. Look in the S4 b5 section - I think the post header is titled something like "things you didn't know were possible"..........

Also, as I hate driving, my toy to play with - a Honda CBR F Sport

My wife is only 5ft tall but, thankfully, won't drive the RS.

New chick also sounds like a good idea. My Belgian friend certainly managed to drive my MR2 without adjusting the seat!

LOL! If I did that my wife  would make sure, by any means necessary, that my legs will be as short as hers

I double checked the link on the S4 b5 section about using the keyfob to adjust the seats. There was no info about how to do it - just that it is possible. I might just go and post in there to check if anyone knows how to do. I'll be back soon...........

But ONLY if you have the memory seats option, so we've gone full circle.
