Speaker Or Amp

Hi Guys, oops sorry and girls 
My left rear speaker is not working! no sound no nothing if blown I thought it would make some sort of noise.
so could it be the amp?
Secound thing I found this morning, there was a car kit fitted and the main loom and craddelare still in the car just tapped up under the dash
could this be causing the problem?
