RE: origin b2
I do. Unit is just to the left of the windscreen pillar on the flat part of the dash and laser detector is behind the rear view mirror.

Hi dhali,
I'd like to suggest an alternative.
Firstly, I assume that it is the non-Solo model without the integrated gps aerial in the cradle (not a problem if it is the Solo, you would just have to do what I did which was to order a separate GPS antenna from Origin, they're £30).
There's nothing wrong with placing it next to the pillar (which is where my GPS antenna is), but for me it didn't look quite right as I couldn't find a perfectly flat spot, and it also looked a bit conspicuous.
I placed mine in front of the right hand central vent. It also makes taking a live ignition operated feed from the radio nice and easy.
Totally agree re the location of the laser detector, although mine is just to the left of the rear view mirror, as the detector needs a clear view to the rear window as it can also detect lasers directed from behind the car.
I've attached some pics to show the installation. The guy who did the Parrot install gave me the idea of locating it in the middle, and before anyone asks, I haven't noticed any discernable lack of ventilation by having the units in front of the central vents.
Feel free to PM me if you need any more info.

I have one of these and the green matched my old Mondeo ST200 well, has anyone explored trying to get a red or orange LCD screen?
