LIke the subject says.
How do i find out whcih sat-nav I have and how do I enable the TV?

RNS-D is the one with the smaller 5" screen, with the controls at either side - this is what came as stock on our S4s Rob.

If it's been upgraded to RNS-E, then it will have the wider 7"(?) screen with the controls at the bottom (and won't quite fit properly )

If you have the TV tuner (in the rear cradle), it should just be a question of scrolling through the CD/TV/Tuner button until Eastenders comes on...

Thanks Clive. I am at in-laws this weekend and have no access to email. I think I have the RNS-E model. I was referring to the B6 S4. Buttons bottom and right hand side. I can't access TV, I suppose I need the TV Tuner. Any idea where I can get one and is it just a case of plug and play..?

Yep, that's the RNS-E. I guess if you cant' access TV, either there's a fault or you don't have the tuner - should just be plug and pray

If the setup is like the B5, then you should be able to identify the unit in the boot cradle.

Looking forward to the lowdown on the B6 - is the RS6 out of the running now...?

Due to circumstances it is out of the running - for now.....the new RS6 will be out next year...

Yo Rob, its an RNS-E, no it hasn't a TV module as I didn't want one or even consider fitment at the time craigyb installed the nav, you also have the most up to date DVD......RNS-E user manuals are around £8 from Audi parts depts. TTFN

Full warranty till August 12th 2007....
