Bose front door speaker: blown!!

I have a B5 RS4 with Bose, which has I think blown a front door speaker!!
I thought this was pretty much impossible with the Bose system, but now its sounds really crap.
Has anyone had the same problem?
Where would be the best place to find a replacement, apart from the dealers?

One of my rears went.

The centre dome become detached from the cone, I removed it completely and then simply glued it back on with an adhesive. This was over 18 months ago and it is still working fine.

I had my fronts sounding a lil kak on my A4, never bothered to replace it, sold the car in the end. Its not difficult to replace if you get a speaker from Audi - bet they cahrge a fortune though. There are instructions on audi world on how to take door cards out.

Replaced mine (nearside front) in June - nothing visibly wrong with it - just sounded crackly first thing in the morning) Try asking Grizz? 5 min job to change BTW.

Had the same problem with mine when I bought it. Driver's side front. Had it replaced under warranty which I guess is no help to you Simon but I think its a simple enough job. It was irritating the hell out of me until I got it swapped
