I bought my adapter cables from Kufatec. You'll need the main power/speaker cable adaptor, the gps antenna adaptor and the radio antenna adaptor.

With regard to the TV tuner, are you aware that your original tuner will not work with the RNS-E? You'll need to source a 'C' suffix unit, which will probably come with the full 5 metre long cable.

Whereabouts are you? If you're anywhere within reach of Reading, I could give you a hand.

Cheers mate I think you have answered most of my questions,

I will try it out but first I will have to replace my RNS-E screen it got damaged on delivery and now I will have to sort out a new screen any suggestions?

I have parking sensor on front and rear of my car , rear works fine but fronts are not connected , its had a bumper change and it may have come with the parking sensors I assume? . Would I be able to connect it with rear set?

Thanks for the offer of helping out, I really appreciate it! Reading is a bit far for me , I live in east London. Thanks Peter :D

Sorry, no idea on this!

It appears that the control units have a different part number for the 4 and 8 channel parking sensors. If the car originally came with park assist front and rear, then it might just be a matter of connecting up, or even a VAG-COM setting. Otherwise it might involve having to change the control unit.

I agree with what Peter has said, but only if your car has an RNS-D fitted and not the C and is equipped with can bus for the cluster and radio. Check your existing nav system for can H & L connections, just with it being a 2000 model it is just borderline.
