SatNav Problems

Can Anyone help with a frustrating and annoying problem with the SatNav on my 2003 RS6 Avant- I have an upto-date Tele Atlas 2005 DX CD, purchased about 3 months ago, so all the information is current. The factory-fitted SatNav Plus only searches on a 5-digit postcode and so the accuracy is poor. Tele Atlas tell me that their systems carry standard 7-digit postcode searching. Many other
systems can 7 search with their software. Audi, in its wisdom, programmed its hardware/ software running system to only search on 5 digits. Many tuning houses have altered highly complex ECU software to liberate power gains on factory engines; I could increase my 455 PS to 550 PS. Is there a company which could alter the Audi SatNav reader on my system to give me 7-digit postcode searching? I have been lost on quite a few occasions because of this poor system. This is the only problem with an otherwise perfect car. I would rather have accurate SatNav than 550 PS - I can blow the socks off most cars, anyway! The roads are so heavily covered with cameras and lasers that fun is antisocial. The odd Porsche and Ferrari may be Quicker but they only go out In dry sunny weather to pose. I do about 10,000 miles a year and it is a blast to sit behind 450 PS, Quattro drive, and 8-pot Callipered grunt.

i look forward to any help on the matter
