Audi Europe or Ireland Sat Nav Disk

Post by Speed_Junkie » Tue May 23, 2006 11:05 pm

Hi Guys,

I was wondering where i would get one of these disks that would be compatible with the Audi Sat Nav? Are they expensive? Is it possible to copy the disks and if so, would the copy work perfectly? If so, would anybody who has one be willing to get it copied for me, for a fee of course?

Cheers in advance

Alan

There's loads on ebay - about £80 to £100 for the latest edition (2006) and £130 to £160 for the latest TMC edition.

If you're not bothered about it being bang up to date, you can pick up a 2004 edition for about £35.

Cheers Clive,

Do i have to get a certain make Sat Nav disk (Audi Specific) or will all the makes work in the Audi?

It would be handy if someone has upgraded their Sat Nav disk and had the old, out of date one they wanted to sell. I have the UK one in the car, but i'm bringing the car over to Ireland so it's fairly useless

Right Alan,

So I think you have the CD version.

There are Audi specific discs available, but any of the Teleatlas DX versions on CD should work, but it would obviously help if it mentioned Audi somewhere on the box.

Not quite - that slot is reserved for the satnav disc - it wont play anything else.

Good luck with the item on ebay!
