Enabling tone controls on TV input

On Nav+ it seems that pressing "tone" whilst on the TV input doesn't do anything - is it just mine or is that normal?

If it's normal, does anyone know if it can be coded to be enabled?

AFAIK its normal and can't be enabled.

Cheers - at least I know it's normal. Wonder why they did that.

Also, has anyone else noticed that when you get to the top two volume positions when on TV input, some sort of loudness circuit seems to kick in - the bass gets a significant boost....
