A4(B6) Symphony head unit into B5 car?

Does anyone know if the Symphony head unit from the newer A4 (B6/7) will fit into the B5 RS4? Either in terms of shape, or connectivity?
2001 Avus Silver RS4, APRacing 6pots - Gone, but not forgotten :(

Shape no, connectivity yes (although some functions such as GALA won't work properly because the new car is more CAN-based).
