cd err3 on cd stacker?

what does this mean?
my stacker has packed it in, the dash player is ok but the stacker is giving me this error code.

Over the years I've had two what I would call glitches with my Audi 6 stacker boot system. I simply removed the cassette and checked that all the disks were in correctly. I found nothing obvious put the cassette back in. Still didn't work switched off the car left it for a min. then switch it back on and it worked fine this happened on both my S4 and RS4 it only happaned once on both and never gave another glitch? Sorry I can't be more specific.

Happens fairly often on mine. Usually when the air is cold, especially when the car has been left overnight.
I was guessing that it was condensation and the laser couldn't read, but I'm not sure you would have that problem over there!
