Bluetooth car phone CD conflict?

Just had a Nokia CK-7W bluetooth kit fitted (professionally) to my '99 S4. It's plugged into the head unit so that the music is killed when a call comes in.
This works fine if I'm listening to the radio but if I receive a call when listening to a CD (boot changer), after the call ends the CD 'freezes'. I can't skip tracks or change CD - the radio still works fine. The only way to get the CD working again is to disconnect the phone from the bluetooth kit (via the phone or by switching off the engine).
Before I call the guys who fitted it to have a look am I missing something obvious??
Cheer

It's not a problem I've heard of.
Never had a problem with either my 2000 A6, or my current RS6, both fitted with phone kits and CD changers.

Something funny (or not so!) is going on. If the car kit doesn't connect to the phone as soon as the ignition key is turned, but connects a few minutes later, the CD player again freezes. The only way to get the CD player working again is to switch the ignition off and on again!!

I have a nokia bluetooth kit fitted to my car, it just mutes the radio, or pauses the CD until the call hangs up then resumes playing the track....and it says phone across the screen while on a call. I would take it back to the 'professional' installer, I fitted mine myself with no issues.

I have the Nokia 610 car phone and I only have the occasional glitch when i change from one phone to user 2 and disrupt the connection half way through. It sounds like you have a real problem.

I took the car back to the company who fitted the bluetooth kit and they believe the problem lies with the head unit as it started acting up (see below).
I then swung round to the local car audio gaff who reckon it's a result of the bluetooth kit!! They believe the mute cable from the kit is causing some kind of interference??
Anyway, I undertook some investigations at the back of the head unit and have now screwed up the CD changer altogether?!! No consistent error message but the CD number and track number change at will (with only 1 CD in the cartridge) and nothing will play!!!!
HELP!!!!

Sounds very much like a bad connection to the plug which feeds the head unit from the CDC.... pull it all apart again and make sure everything is in the place and in properly..........there is only one mute wire which is earth triggered, there are no other wires which would cause this...
