Post by S4driver » Sat Oct 16, 2004 7:55 pm

Has anyone any BTDT on removing this piece of trim. I have the phone kit fitted like this but would like to remove it out of the way - in the glovebox- as i will not use it........

That'll be my car then.... It's a custom built trim, I'd be surprised if you had the same one!!

What stock equipment do you have. I know that for the Symphony radio the trim is attached to it, so remove the radio with 4 keys and the trim comes with it. If your radio does not have the trim attached then certainly removal of the radio will be step 1...

Yep - on my old A6, once the radio was out, removal of the wood trim simply involved gripping the edges around the radio aperture and pulling - it just unclips.
