Audi concert reoval

Post by S4driver » Thu Sep 30, 2004 6:19 pm

My S4 has the concert head unit fitted. Is it possible to reove this and fit an aftermarket din size head unit? I take it the only thing i may lose is the radio info on the computer? Would i need some sort of blanking plate - the concert seems to be larger than a din size......It could be just me though

Thanks for any help guys...........

It is DIN. As you noted, the facia is larger than DIN so you need to get a blanking plate. And yes you will lose the info on the DIS.

I think the bits from Edworthys make it a double DIN.

I made mine:
